Patton Island Bridge Corridor:
This highway is a high speed arterial from US 72 / US 43 north of the Tennessee River to AL 184 south of the Tennessee River. The highway will have six lanes, three at-grades, and one interchange.

AL 24:
AL 24 is a high speed arterial between Red Bay and Decatur. At the western end, a 4-lane Red Bay bypass is planned to link in to Mississippi’s Corridor V expressway. From Red Bay to Russelville it is a two lanes, and from Russelville to Decatur it is a 4-lane divided.

AL 72:
Although US 72 is a 4-lane highway for the entire distance across Alabama, it only meets high-speed arterial standards between the Mississippi State Line and Tuscumia and between Huntsville and the Tennessee State Line. In the middle section of the state, US 72 alternates between a 4-lane and 5-lane conventional road, and is a strip mall from Athens to Huntsville.

AL 157:
AL 157 is a high-speed arterial from Florence to Moulton. Grading and drainage work is currently being done for an extension to Cullman. There is some commercial development in Moulton.
