Glossary
US 34:
An expressway from I-29 to the east end of the US 275 multiplex, Ottumwa to Agency, US 218 to New London, and Middletown to West Burlington. By 2007, it will be an expressway from Ottumwa to West Burlington. Long-range plans call for a Super-2 expressway between US 275 and Ottumwa.

History and Construction Schedule:

Glenwood to Ottumwa Super 2-lane expressway proposed. This plan was put on hold in September 2001.
Through Ottumwa Expressway complete 1965.
Ottumwa to Agency Expressway complete 1950's.
Agency to Batavia Completion planned for 2006.
Batavia to Fairfield Bypass Expressway complete May 11, 2005.
Fairfield Bypass Completion planned for late 2008.
Fairfield Bypass to Mount Pleasant Bypass Completion planned for spring or summer 2005.
Mount Pleasant Bypass Construction is almost complete, but on hold due to a contractor error.
US 218 to 1-1/2 miles east of US 218 Expressway complete December 2001.
1-1/2 miles east of US 218 to New London Expressway complete September 2000.
New London Bypass Expressway complete May 2000.
New London to West Burlington Completion scheduled for late 2005.

IA 58:
IA 58 is a freeway / expressway in Cedar Falls from US 218 to US 20. North of University Ave, its a freeway, and south of University Ave, its an expressway with traffic lights.

History:

IA 60:
Although none of the IA 60 expressway  in northwest Iowa is complete yet, the entire 56-mile route will be done in three years! It will run from the Minnesota border to the north end of the US 75 expressway, which extends down to Sioux City.

US 61:
An expressway from Wisconsin to IA 64, from IA 136 to CR Y62 at De Witt, from I-280 to the west end of the IA 92 multiplex, from Burlington to Fort Madison, and from the west end of the IA 2 multiplex to the south end of the US 218 multiplex.

US 63:
An expressway from the New Hampton Bypass to the south end of the US 18 multiplex, from IA 3 near Denver to CR 66 in Waterloo, from IA 163 to Eddyville (north), and from Eddyville (south) to US 34. It eventually will be a Super-2 from Minnesota to New Hampton, a  freeway / expressway from New Hampton to Waterloo, an expressway from Oskaloosa to Bloomfield, and a Super-2 from Bloomfield to Missouri.
