NS-103:
As with NS-101, NS-103 also runs from Yarmouth to Halifax. However, it runs by the south shore. It's a bit shorter than NS-101 (294 km) but less used because of its many at-grades. There are also segments through towns and with driveways that slow down the traffic. The 4-lane divided segment was extended to Exit 3 in 1997, and NS MOT is surveying land for a further extension.

The NS-103 expressway ends merely
a km or two away from the end of NS-101, but there
are no plans to connect the two highways to create a
limited access loop route around southern Nova
Scotia. The Picture below (courtesy of Oscar Voss)
