NS-142:
NS-142 was built in 1990. It runs between the town of Springhill and the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH-104). It has been built to attract commercial industries to Springhill. Although the traffic of this road does not seem to require the status of a 100-series highway, it meets all provincial standards, such as a meter-wide paved shoulder.
