US 250:
There are four segments of US 250 that are expressways:

  • Around Milan from OH 13 North to the Erie / Huron county line
  • Around the Ashland Bypass is a Super-2
  • From just west of US 36 to OH 800 South. This segment is .68 miles long.
  • There are plans to build an expressway between OH 800 and OH 151.
  • From .34 miles west of OH 151 to 3.67 miles west of US 22 (Super-2)
  • There are plans to extend the expressway as a Super-2 from its current east ending around Cadiz to I-70 at St. Clairsville.

OH 261:
OH 261 is an expressway from .47 miles east of the Summit / Portage county line to its eastern terminus at OH 59, a total of 4.58 miles. The eastern and western ends of the expressway are both Super-2, but OH 261 is 4-lane divided from .85 miles west of OH 43 to 1.07 miles east of OH 43. This serves as the outer bypass for Kent (OH 59 has a 4-lane undivided expressway inner bypass).

OH 281:

OH 281 is a 2-lane expressway in Defiance, from OH 424 to OH 281. The expressway is 0.75 miles long.

History:

Completed in 1972.

OH 317:

OH 317 is an expressway from Rickenbacker International Airport to US 33, a distance of 5.79 miles. The expressway is 2 lanes from Port Rd to Groveport Rd (2.68 miles), and 4 lanes from Groveport Rd to US 33 (3.11 miles).

OH 334:

OH 334 is an expressway along its entire length, from US 68 to OH 4. It has 4 lanes at its western edge, and 2 lanes along the rest. The expressway is 3.89 miles long.

OH 344:
There is a 1.72-mile long super-2 expressway segment of OH 344 just west of Leetonia.

OH 347:

OH 347 is an expressway from US 33 to 2.7 miles east of US 33. The expressway provides access to the Honda plant. It is 2 lanes from US 33 to 0.64 miles east of US 33, and 4 lanes for the rest of the distance.

OH 348:

OH 348 is a 2-lane expressway from Cooper Mt. Pleasant Rd to US 23, a distance of 6.12 miles.

OH 420:
OH 420 is a 4-lane expressway that connects I-80 / I-90 and I-280 to US 20. It is 2.4 miles long.

History:

Completed in 1955. A new interchange at US 20 / US 23 opened in 2006 (replacing an at-grade intersection).

 

US 422:
US 422 is an expressway from the Trumbull / Mahoning county line to OH 193, a distance of 1.94 miles. The configuration is 4-lane divided in some places and 4-lane undivided in others.

OH 435:

OH 435 is a 4-lane expressway from US 35 west of Octa to I-71. The expressway is 1.72 miles long.

OH 424:

OH 424 is a 2-lane expressway through downtown Napoleon, from Avon Place to Jefferson Street. The expressway segment is 0.64 miles long.

OH 424 is a 2-lane expressway from US 6 to US 24 (the expressway follows OH 424 CONNECTOR instead of going to the dead end). This segment is 0.7 miles long. This segment was probably designated as a limited access highway to facilitate movement between US 6 westbound and US 24 eastbound, because the interchange between the two highways is a y-interchange.

OH 444:

OH 444 is a 4-lane expressway from OH 4 to OH 844. This segment is 3.16 miles long.

OH 446:
The Canfield Bypass is a Super-2 expressway. It is 1.51 miles long.

History:

Completed in 1969.

OH 682:
OH 682 is a Super-2 expressway on the southern Athens Bypass, which is from US 50 / US 33 / OH 32 south of Athens to OH 56 west of Athens.

OH 735:
OH 735 is a 1.23-mile long expressway connecting OH 7 to US 35 in Gallipolis.

History:

Complete 1970. This was originally part of the US 35 Gallipolis Bypass. After the Ohio River bridge collapsed, US 35 was rerouted onto a new bridge further south, leaving this short expressway as an access road to OH 7.

OH 741

OH 741 is a 4-lane undivided expressway from the Warren / Montgomery County Line (near Dayton Airport) to Dayton Mall. The expressway is 3.23 miles long.

OH 795:

OH 795 is a 4-lane expressway near Metcalf Field, from East Broadway to Lemoyne Rd. The expressway is 2.7 miles long.

OH 800:
A Dennison Bypass is proposed as a Super-2 expressway.

 

OH 821:
OH 821 is a super-2 expressway north of Marietta from .25 miles south of I-77 to 3 miles north of I-77.

OH 833:
OH 833 is the old US 33 expressway in Pomeroy.

History:

The expressway was built in 1970. US 33 left the routing when the Ravenswood Connector was completed on December 23, 2003.

OH 844:
OH 844 is a 2.32-mile long expressway on the east side of Dayton which connects I-675 to OH 844 at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
