New Tyburn Road (State Route 2020):
New Tyburn Road is an expressway in Bucks County, northeast of Philadelphia.
Summary:
New Tyburn Road is a local 4 lane highway built to serve the US steel industrial park along the Delaware River and the residents of Falls Township with the borough of Morrisville a few miles away. New Tyburn Road also connects to the US 13 freeway and the US 1 Bypass freeway. US 1 Bypass connects to I-95 only a few miles south of New Tyburn Road. Low traffic volumes and old aesthetics to the roadway make the highway an interesting relic preserved from the 1960 and 1970's. However, the first sign of modern times along New Tyburn Road are the signal LED replacements. On US 13, its freeway aesthetics and old signage were once the same thing but is now under a big facelift for signage and is being upgraded to current
safety standards. Most of New Tyburn Road is paralleled by the original Tyburn Road, which is a neighborhood street.
