Not on the expressway yet. This is US 17 SB as I am making a left turn onto SC 517. This turn lane normally sees a lot of congestion.
Beginning of the expressway, known to locals as the Isle Of Palms connector (SC 517 EB). To the right lane is the US 17 NB merge lane. This is a 3 lane expressway with a non-travel center lane.
Market Center Drive signal. To the right is easy access to I-526 to avoid some of US 17 through the big box shopping areas that are between SC 517 and I-526.
At-grade intersection for Riviera Dr. for hotels and restaurants.
Beginning to cross the wetlands. The intracoastal waterway
is just down the road a bit.

This is the end of SC 517 at Palm Blvd (SC 703). Continuing straight takes you into the newly built downtown IOP and Ocean Blvd where many beach front homes are at.
