The southern freeway portion of the Allen Road looking north towards Highway 401 from Lawrence Avenue. Note the Spadina Subway line running in the centre of the freeway. The freeway portion is the only completed portion of the former Spadina Expressway freeway project, whose southward extension into downtown Toronto was cancelled in 1971.
