CA 111:
On CA-111, there is an expressway section from the north end of Palm Springs at Tramway Road to I-10.
CA 111 is or is planned to be an expressway from CA 98 to Brawley. The segment from CA 98 to I-8 is planned to be upgraded to a freeway by 2012.

CA 115:
Plans call for CA 115 to be an expressway from a junction with I-8 at CA 7 to the CA 78 junction to be completed by 2020.
CA 120:
CA 120 is planned to be a Super-2 expressway from CA 99 to 7 miles east of CA 99. An Oakdale Bypass is also planned to be built as a Super-2 expressway. The EIS has been prepared for this bypass.
CA 125:
An 8-mile extension of the CA 125 freeway to the north, extending from CA 52 to Poway Rd at Espola Rd, is planned to be built as an expressway. This is to be completed by 2015.
CA 132:
CA 132 is an expressway - mixed 4-lanes and two lanes - from I-580 to CA 33. From CA 33 to the San Joaquin river bridge, it is a conventional road. From the San Joaquin River Bridge to CA 99, it is slated to be upgraded to a freeway. Construction will start in 2006 or 2007.
CA 135:
CA 135 is an expressway in Orcutt. It also also an expressway for a few miles south of its junction with CA 1.
CA 138:
A new CA 138 expressway is planned to be built between I-5 and CA 14. There are also plans to build a 4-lane expressway or a freeway bypass of Palmdale.
CA 149:
CA 149 is planned to be upgraded to an expressway, connecting the CA 70 freeway to the CA 99 expressway.

CA 152:
CA 152 is an expressway from Pachecho Pass to CA 99. It is planned to be extended west to the US 101 freeway.
CA 154:
Some parts of the highway are Super-2 expressway.
CA 156:
CA 156 is planned to be an expressway connecting the CA 156 freeway at Castroville to the US 101 expressway at Prunedale. After a multiplex along the US 101 expressway, the CA 156 expressway will turn east at San Juan Bautista to Hollister. Then, it will go north to meet up with the CA 152 expressway at the San Benito / Santa Clara county line.
CA 160 - Freeport Blvd:
Freeport Blvd is an expressway in southern Sacramento, between Blair Ave and Pocket Rd / Meadowview Rd.
CA 168:
A 3-mile expressway extends from the eastern end of the CA 168 freeway at Clovis. This is eventually going to be a freeway.
CA 180:
There is currently a CA 180 freeway under construction east of Fresno. At the east end of that freeway, a Super-2 expressway is planned to extend 6.6 miles east. An expressway is also planned from I-5 to Fresno.
CA 198:
CA 198 is an expressway from CA 41 in Lemoore to CA 43 in Hanford. The expressway will be extended eastward to CA 99, with construction starting in Summer 2005.
CA 238 (Cancelled):
CA 238 was planned to be upgraded to an expressway from I-580 to a few miles south. This was canceled in January 2002.
CA 255:
CA 255 is a Super-2 expressway from US 101 in Eureka across Arcata Bay.
CA 267:
The Truckee Bypass is a Super-2 expressway. It is planned to be 4-laned by 2020.

CA 283:
CA 283, the shortest state route in California, is a 2-lane expressway. It starts at US 101 at Scotia and runs 0.6 miles, including a bridge over the Eel River, to Rio Dell. This used to be part of US 101.
US 395:
US 395 is eventually slated to be an expressway from the San Bernardino / Kern county line to Nevada with the exception of an extremely scenic and environmentally sensitive area by Mono Lake.
