DE 1:


North of Dover, DE 1 is the Delaware Turnpike, a toll road with a 65-mph speed limit. From US 113 to DE 9, DE 1 is an expressway with right-in-right-out intersections. DE 1 is a 4-lane arterial for most of the distance between DE 9 and Rehoboth Beach. However, along this segment, DE 1 has expressway-grade bypasses of Milford, Argos Corner, and Nassau. South of Rehoboth Beach, DE 1 is a boulevard for much of the distance but has some fast sections as it travels through state parks.
