Glossary
WI 50:
WI 50 is an expressway between I-94 and US 12. There is some commercial development near I-94 and a 55-mph speed limit throughout.

 

US 51:
US 51 is an expressway from CR K north of Merrill to CR S south of Tomahawk. Near Madison, US 51 will be built as an expressway between I-39/90/94 and CTH V near DeForest.

US 53:
US 53 is an expressway from CR C north of Rice Lake to US 2. Outside of the town bypass, the expressway was mainly created by building two new lanes next to the two existing lanes. US 53 is also an expressway from WI 93 south of Eau Claire to WI 124 north of Eau Claire.

WI 54:
WI 54 is an expressway with a limited amount of driveways from Wisconsin Rapids to Stevens Point. There is a 65-mph speed limit on the highway despite the driveways.
